En partido que se definió en el alargue el equipo de Nacional de Nueva Helvecia se corono por primera vez en su historia de 100 años en Campeón del Interior en esta VII Copa Nacional de Clubes, al derrotar al Melo Wanderers por la mínima diferencia gol convertido por Miguel Castiglioni.
Tuvieron que pasar 100 años para que los bolsos de Nueva Helvecia pudieran ver a su equipo como el monarca del interior.
Fue a más de 200 kilómetros de su tierra, pero valió “la pateada” hasta Minas para tan impresionante logro.

Donde una patriada del flaco Miguel Castiglioni lo llevo a la gloria a el y a todo su equipo, para gritar fuerte: “De Nueva Helvecia, salio el nuevo campeón”
